UpdatedWednesday June 16, 2021 byKCRBL.

Hello, KCRBL Community!

We are hosting an All-Star Skills Day FUNdraising event on Thursday, June 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Nick in Wolfeboro for all registered Cal Ripken baseball and softball players age 7 to 12!

At this event, players will hit, run, and throw, and we will award winners for each category (hit, run, throw) at the following age groups and types and an overall winner for each group/type:

Ages 7-8 baseball

Ages 7-8 softball

Ages 9-10 baseball

Ages 9-10 softball

Ages 11-12 baseball

Ages 11-12 softball

There is NO entry fee to participate! However, this is a fundraising event. So, the Snack Shack will be open with concessions and will accept donations. This fundraiser is toward the purchase and installation of a batting cage at The Nick (behind Kendall Field). We have a generous offer, too, that will match donations up to $5,000. So, if we raise $5,000 (or more), then we have $10,000 (or more) toward the batting cage.

Pre-register NOW! Email kcrbl.huffman@gmail.com, include “ALL STAR” in the subject field of the email, and include the name(s) and age(s) of the player(s) participating in the body of the email. All registration emails must be received no later than Tuesday, June 22, 9 p.m. ET. All registrants will receive a ticket during check-in that can be exchanged at the Snack Shack for a freezer pop or other frozen treat.

We are also seeking sponsors for the event at the following levels:

Grand Slam - $200: Hang a temporary banner or post up to 4 yard signs of your business at the event (must provide the banner/signs)

Perfect Game - $500: Have your business name/logo on a special Strike Zone banner that players will throw against in the Throw portion of the event, plus the perks of the $200 level (limit to 1 business and you get the banner afterward)
