Junior Babe Ruth Baseball Returns to Kingswood
Ages 13-15 level of Babe Ruth makes return this springUpdatedWednesday March 11, 2020 byKCRBL.
Junior Babe Ruth is back!
Registration is open now for the spring 2020 Junior Babe Ruth Baseball season. This level is for ages 13 to 15, with league age based on age on May 1, 2020. The cost is $150 per player, which covers state tournament fees, umpires fees for games, uniforms, insurance, and more.
The state tournament runs July 10-12 and 17-19, with location(s) to be determined after registrations close.
Practices will be assorted weekday evenings and scheduled to occur after middle school/high school sports (particularly baseball) practices/games so that there is no conflict with KRMS/KRHS. Games could be weeknights or weekends, but will most likely be doubleheaders on weekends.
Kingswood Jr Babe Ruth will play games with other leagues around the area from May through early July leading up to the tournament. Away games could be against Rochester, Barrington, Somersworth, and others, depending on how the schedules get created and agreed upon. Days and times of games will be announced as they become official.
KCRBL league president Bill Huffman will be manager of one team for 2020. If enough players are registered, we will form a second team. Assistant coaches will be announced later.
Registration is online at www.kcrbl.com. We accept all major credit cards for payment through our online registration system.
Deadline to register for Babe Ruth 13-15 is April 5.
